Vice President of Drug Safety

We are seeking a remarkably distinguished leader to shine as the elite safety executive. Our client is a strong, established biotechnology corporation that is a pacesetter in endocrine therapeutics with an extensive pipeline of both commercial and development drugs.

 

Responsibilities include:

·         Assertively lead the strategic development of global safety strategy  and oversee participation in development and branding/labeling

·         Ensure the highest quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all drug safety information assembly and reporting from US and international sources

·         Assuredly manage collection, analysis, and reporting of serious adverse events from clinical studies and all adverse events for commercial products

·         Serve as the primary resource of safety information, providing in-depth knowledge of products in assigned therapeutic areas

·         Influentially collaborate with corporate partners, cross functional teams, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements:

·         MD

·         Extensive experience in global safety leadership

·         Creative problem solving tact

·         Solid resource management skills

·         Savvy strategic relationship building aptitude

·         Demonstrated ability to facilitate change, drive business process improvement initiatives, and propel execution to meet business objectives
